A couple of Christmases ago Mr. W. read me a news story about a Jewish man in (I think) Detroit (Nope: Milwaukee) who volunteered to work on Christmas in place of a Christian and did a whole variety of different jobs as a result. (Oh, hurrah! I found the story. And I can't believe it's from 1998!) That's diversity and multiculturalism I can get behind -- because it so evidently springs from genuine good will.
