There is a gorgeous tomato on one of the vines. It was green yesterday and today it's red, though it could stand another day on the vine.
Do I allow it to ripen to perfection, and thereby risk letting a squirrel get the First Tomato of Summer?
Do I pick it now, depriving myself of the full glory of sun-ripened tomato?
