All I Ask For In A Film

You've heard the rumors that "Noah "will be anti-Christian and about global warming? Hollywood's capable of anything (like a movie where the real terrorists are from 9/11 families), but that seems so preposterous on its face -- what fossil fuels were being burned in antediluvian (and presumably ante-fossil) times?-- that I couldn't credit it. Then a few weeks ago Steven Greydanus did this fabulous piece urging people to chill out since no one knows anything about the script yet -- but more importantly, pointing out the film-maker is Jewish and exploring rabbinical texts about the flood.

Very interesting. But I will be seeing Noah in any case, because it has that for which I principally look in any adventure film:  big honkin' waves.
