Shades of the same from the increasingly obscene case of San Diego mayor (and former Congressman) Robert Filner, who now has seven women accusing him of the grossest kinds of harrassment (gives a whole new meaning to "hands-on government" said a waitress), and whose fiancee broke up with him for sexting other women right in front of her at a restaurant. From a former lobbyist for "women's issues" :
It was common knowledge on Capitol Hill that this guy was a pig, but as politics got more fractious and partisan, we needed his vote. He was pro-choice, pro-labor, pro-veterans and pro-Israel. That’s why no one outed him.So... votes for services, that's what passes for feminine empowerment these days. Clinton. Switzer. Weiner. Filner.....Kennedy. It's men like these who wage the real War on Women. They don't even have the courage and passion to have a real affair of the heart. They sext and insist women in subservient positions service them. They aren't pro-choice, they're Bro-choice, as men against a recent Texas law explained:
Your sex life is at stake. Can you think of anything that kills the vibe faster than a woman fearing a back-alley abortion? Making abortion essentially inaccessible in Texas will add an anxiety to sex that will drastically undercut its joys. And don't be surprised if casual sex outside of relationships becomes far more difficult to come by.Are women really so stupid that it never dawns on them that men who treat women like this in real life don't really have their best interests at heart in policy either?
