And now we have empirical evidence. Politico's Roger Simon wrote a studiously unfunny "humor" piece. Unfunny, but obviously --and I do mean obviously-- satirical.
That didn't stop Paul Krugman and numerous other luminaries from quoting it as fact.
The tyranny of experts would be more palatable if they weren't all such --I reach for a non-scatological word-- Krugmans.
Update: Fars pulls a Krugman. The Iranian news agency published an Onion story as fact. Gallup Poll: Rural Whites Prefer Ahmadenijad to Obama.
