Is Minnesota in Play?

Powerline notices something I noticed too in an email from Joe Biden (I get a daily plea from a rotating list of campaign operatives, including Barack, Michele, David, etc. We're on a first-name basis, doncha know.) Usually they ask for $3; recently that's upped to $5. It's a lot of hoo-ha that rings desperate in my ears, but this was interesting:

If we win this election, it will be because of what you did in moments like this to help close the spending gap.

Because this is real: Just last week alone, Mitt Romney's campaign and his allies outspent our side by at least three to one in North Carolina, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, and Pennsylvania, all states we need to win.

That could swing the election -- but it doesn't have to.

Minnesota? Is that a Bidenism or an interesting development?
