It is so maudlin and preposterous, I thought the whole matter was Vanderleun's own elaborate futuristic fantasy, until an internet search just to be sure revealed the awful truth that yes, Al Gore has committed poetry against us all.
Because apparently nothing prepares a people to embrace a prophylactic Western die-off from cap and trade and health care death panels like a poem that doesn't scan.
