In the Pope's annual address to the Curia (Italian) he delivered an erudite reflection on Creation and the relationship between respect for the earth and respect for the human person. In the process he also criticized the notion of "gender" as it tends to play out in UN conferences, for example.
In a spirit of fairness and dialogue, the Telegraph grabbed three sentences from this address, read them to a lesbian pastor and a lesbian blogger, and reported their measured and thoughtful responses, such as
totally irresponsible and unacceptable in any shape or form.and
