Key-wis!

Big Jump to the Right: Because I haven't had enough election news (and neither have you, surely?) here's some from New Zealand, where they've voted for "change" by tossing out the long-time Labour Party PM Helen Clark, and placed a Wall Street wunderkind of the National Party in charge of the country.

The Times (UK) is only a bit condescending about it.
John Key’s conservative National Party easily won power in New Zelaland [sic], known internationally for its pristine environment and as the backdrop to the “Lord of the Rings" movies.
Translation: too small for us to care. (I thought only Americans thought that way).

Anyway, good news. Comes the revolution, we have to be on the lookout for back-up emergency back-up countries in case Oz goes wonky on us. (Post-John Howard, we just don't know.) Curtsy: ninme.
