I think we should take some time today, regardless of our political views, to celebrate a man who is truly a great example for all of us. The son of one white parent and one black parent, he identified more with the downtrodden than the wealthy. He dedicated his life to lifting up the poor and expanding access to health care for the disadvantaged.
