Only if you can handle an outburst of pure and undiluted cynicism should you read American Digest's essay in support of same-sex marriage. (Very funny, though.) I link it because it supports my thesis (here and here) that the reason no one can defend traditional marriage anymore is because in this country all marriage is gay marriage. If this is all marriage is, anyone is welcome to it. Here's my first-draft manifesto on the subject.
