Media Stunned By Powell Doing What He Said He Would Do Months Ago

Sez Ryskind:

Obama remains a transformational figure: transforms Sec. Powell into a weasel.

That's harsh. Powell is pro-choice, pro-affirmative action, not-that-interested in economic issues, and stung by his own role in the Iraq war: it's a good fit. I heard on the radio back in June, I think it was, that Powell would endorse Obama. He seemed to be waiting for Iraq to be won before mentioning it, though.
