I hope I'm not merely churlish, but it irks me that the Cardinal of New York (and I'm not singling out Egan, his predecessor did the same) invites all those rabid pro-aborts to a big Catholic fundraising dinner. I understand it's meant to be a light-hearted, non-partisan event. But really: Hillary, Schumer, Bloomberg? Every 4 years it smells like soul-selling.
