75% of our children voted for staid costumes tonight: 2 cowboys and an utterly adorable cowgirl with pink plaid shirt, pink bandana and pink boots she borrowed from someone.
Eldest Weed went as Joe the Plumber. He thought of it himself. The neighbors loved it, every Obama-loving one of 'em. (I'm not being sarcastic, they did. Not so some of the kids who accepted my candy but berated me mildly for our McCain sign.)
