Arms & The Man

We invaded Iraq in March, 2003, and shortly thereafter, Iran gave up its nuclear weapons program, apparently. Plus, Wolfie's back! Apparently.

Make of each what you will.

Update: I have a skeptic in the combox, but VDH & Seth Liebsohn agree with me. For the record, I'm a skeptic too --of the NIE report. But if the current assessment is true, timing means something and Bush deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for prevention of nuclear proliferation. He broke up the AQ Khan ring in Pakistan, ended Libya's program, ended Iran's program, may have ended North Korea's program --and liberated 50 million people in Iraq & Afghanistan-- not to mention the lives saved by his forcing stem cell science in a moral direction.

That beats a slide show about the weather any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
