Hillary Clinton would launch a policy review as president with an eye towards giving up some of the executive powers accumulated by George Bush.Yes, because when a nation faces its greatest-ever civilizational threat, what's called for is an anemic Executive Power. This will be useful fodder for the GOP & the blogosphere, but it's also a prime example of what Mr. W. & I call "TLC": Thinking Like a Congressman. Which is why it's very difficult to run for President from the Senate, no matter what every Senator thinks. Congressmen are ordered towards consensus-building and compromise, not toward decisive action.
A Weak Presidency! That's The Ticket!
Mr. W. just sent me this.
