Don't Let A Few Dead Women Get In The Way Of Our Ideology

I consider Islamic extremism & Western libertinism to be flip sides of the same coin -- both are extreme and misguided efforts to control (particularly female) sexuality. A case in point, as noted here, is the similar inability to discuss breast cancer forthrightly. Can't do it in the West, where the link between breast cancer and lifestyle isn't PC (this news is only just getting out, when I worked in the early 90s to promote the findings of Dr. Joel Brind on the topic --there has been an active disinformation campaign on the part of groups presumably devoted to women's rights).

And not in the East, where women can't see male doctors, or are subject to divorce if they're diagnosed with the ailment.

Whatever. They're only women.
