Fake Fake Turkeys Never Die, They Just Get Stuffed

|
Remember the first time Bush went to Iraq? For Thanksgiving? He presented the troops with a real turkey (it was the one being used as a centerpiece, but it was real and would eventually be eaten). But the rumor spread --and will not die-- that it was a plastic turkey, dressed only for a photo op.

Tim Blair, who's been chronicling the numerous press appearances of the non-existent plastic turkey for four years now, counts another dozen or so recent references to the mythical rubber bird in connection with the Prez' most recent trip.

I think we all know where the real turkeys are.
