It really is the end of an era. Not because the Sopranos ended, but because the Vatican's photographer for 50 years, Arturo Mari, retired at the end of May. His oeuvre here, and a nice post with anecdotes and pix here.
There's loads of other news for a pending potpourri --including B16's trip to Assisi & the rumor the Motu Proprio "releasing" the Pian (as opposed to the Pauline) mass is at the printer and will be released by the end of the week. Emphasis on rumor. But all will have to await my meeting a few deadlines.
