He's back from vacation, evidently. As you know, I wanted to support the bill and only reluctantly was persuaded it was untenable. But if I were a Republican, I would not be gloating too hard or too loudly at the bill's demise. I think there's a reason Harry Reid's not all that sorry it was defeated --and it was Conservative Republicans what done it.
