Bagdad Citizens Rise Up Against al-Q --Maybe

Members of al-Qaida, who consider the district part of their so-called Islamic Stateof Iraq, were preventing students from attending final exams, shooting randomly and forcing residents to stay in their homes, the councilman said.

Having had enough of that, citizens rose up and called in the U.S. Military for help. That's the AP story, which may be true, but Omar has his doubts. His sources say it was a red-on-red shoot-out. For once I like it better the AP's way, but at least it's bad news for al-Q either way.
