Hugh Hewitt thinks victory in Iraq now comes down to Joe Lieberman switching parties. He argues the surge is working, that's why the Dem leadership has abandoned any pretence of listening to the Generals or following facts on the ground. Therefore:

He can stop the war from being lost and he understands the consequences of such a defeat.
