This is U. PA president Amy Gutmann posing with a student at her annual Halloween party. And boy is she in trouble. Personally I'm more offended by her apology (she must think we're all dumb enough to be stuk in Irak) than the photo. Scroll down at the second link and see if you agree with me: All I see is sophomoric humor at work --it might even be healthy; it's so rare we see anyone daring to mock anything Palestinian or Muslim these days.
Speaking of which, the other night on the news I saw a piece about some kid out West who got in trouble for dressing up as Hitler. Dunno, but Hitler costumes don't offend me at Halloween (wear one to protest outside a synagogue, that's another thing). It's Halloween; you get to dress up as bad guys and mock them.
