The postive spin on this story is that at least we're not the murder capital anymore. That would be Belgium, with a per capita murder rate nearly twice ours. That's really not the point of this story, however, which shows how the Belgian Socialists are making common cause with Islamists, such that the same folks who banned crucifixes from public buildings and legalized gay marriage are now enforcing halal meals in public schools and preventing cops from smoking during Ramadan.
