The papal household is split between Germans (the Pope and his secretary, and Papalbrother Georg, who comes for dinner occasionally) and Italians (the nuns who run the household), and they'll all watch the World Cup semi-final together --bringing in a big screen tv for the occasion, no less-- on Tuesday. Germany v. Italy in case you're not following. So. Who is the pope going to root for?
The Pope is always impartial and will have as great a heart on Tuesday for Germany as for the team of blue.
