By the by, my grandfather happened to be in Egypt (he was a geologist for Phillips Petroleum) when the 6-Day War broke out. He too had to be evacuated by Greek ships, and so far as we know, it was Phillips, not Uncle Sam, who had to foot the bill. While in Greece, he bought his newborn grandaughter a little hooded green goat-hair jacket that's been worn by all the 3-year-olds in two generations of Weedlets as the Green Greek Goat Coat.
