Hunger Strikes Ain't What They Used To Be

First Saddam missed lunch. Now Tim Blair is on the case of Cindy Sheehan's hunger strike, which has evolved into a "rolling fast."

The concept involves each participant to refuse food for 24 hours on designated days and then pass the fast over to the next individual.

Blair notes the numerous celebrities joining the fast and asks:

Celebrities not eating for 24 hours? Who has ever heard of such a thing?
