This morning my daughter received her first Communion. I'm not much for girly-girly moments, but she was beautiful -sniff- with the dress, the veil, and her hair out of her eyes for once. And the missing front teeth. Since Jesus knows the heart of a little girl, she received a "big" present to mark the occasion --an American Girl doll. (Guess where they are made.)
