Sheesh. Time for the NSA to analyze call patterns of every employee.

UPDATE: 3 good reasons to chill:
  • First, this was first reported Christmas Eve, 2005.
  • Second, no one is listening to your calls --they're just scrutinzing lists from phone records. The cops do that on Law & Order every week (granted, not on such a scale).
  • As this guy points out
another government agency — the IRS — maintains information on American citizens’ employment, banking, investments, mortgages, charitable contributions and even any declared medical expenses, this hardly seems like a major assault on personal liberty.

Not to mention the census bureau, which knows your race, religion, sex, marital status, number of children. . . .

UPDATE 2: Big Blogger is watching you. I have a statcounter that keeps entry records for all visitors. I know what site you came from, how often you have visited, where you went on my site and how long you were here, whether you Googled your way here . . and what city you live in, and whether you're drinking coffee as you read. Well, anyway, I would know that if I cared enough to look all that stuff up. The point is: Booga-booga!
