Remember this? The Anglican communion is trying desperately not to break apart over the issue of homosexual bishops. To aid the peace process, three homosexual priests in San Francisco have helpfully put themselves forward as candidates for bishop in an election to be held this weekend in San Francisco. Maybe none of them will be elected. But if one is, it's all but certain the Anglican church will break apart.
