Here's my proposal to any Western newspaper that wants to demonstrate it isn't intimidated by Islamofascist threats but also doesn't wish to publish gratuitous insults. How about instead of insulting Mohammed, you simply pay as much attention to the wacky things mullahs say as you do when Pat Robertson lets loose with a good one?
You don't have to mock faith; it isn't any non-Muslim's place to address the content of Islam's faith. Just report what the teachers teach when they address public affairs. Tell their names and show their photos so we know just who you mean, just the way you do with rabbis, ministers & priests. Not just al-Sistani. Cover the stories of our local imams in DC, New York, London, Paris, Copenhagen.
