You may roll your eyes at me for bringing this up again, but I can't resist this Human Events piece on the Darwin/ID debate. I don't even care that much one way or the other about the mechanics of life's origins (which I think are finally unknowable anyway. Who's going to create nothingness in a lab and prove his theory? To me the far more interesting question is what we do with ourselves now that we're here). But intellectual snobbery gets my dander up. Surely we can all agree that certain people get a deserved fisking here for speaking without knowing a darn thing about the facts of the cases presented?
