Was It Good?

Unfortunately I came in at the half-way mark on the State of the Union address. John Batchelor's panel didn't seem to care for it much as I was driving home, but maybe they were too jaded. (Larry Kudlow and John Fund siezed on the call for ethanol and alternative fuels--as if that were the main thrust of the speech). I don't think it soared, but Jack Aubrey would have dubbed it a "seaman-like" performance.
