Curtsy to Danielle Bean. (Who by the way is a Mommy-hero of mine. I like her pre-Christmas post "My Morning in Numbers," which encapsulates the week before Christmas with kids in the house. Except that I went beyond thinking about a shot for my coffee some days. And in lieu of the tree skirt used as a Superman cape I had the Playmobil Pirates staging their raids in the main nativity scene --or maybe they were just paying their respects, but one of them kept napping in the empty manger, which seemed rude, even for a pirate.
