A friend says this story on Mrs. Alito snidely suggess she faked her tears for hubby's benefit. I don't see that, but I'd like to know what the heck the following is doing in a new story --and what they're trying to imply. Speaking of how the pair ended up in Washington, the Times notes:
The future Mrs. Alito eventually followed, also working for the Justice Department as a law librarian, though Rosemary Alito said the two did not live together.
And your point is?
UPDATE: But here's someone who unapologetically thinks Alito was faking it. Oh, brother.
