Theology-speak has long been midly annoying to me. "Image" as a verb. "Unpacking" ideas. Worst of all, "the Christ event." Uggh. Pretentious and precious. And it's spreading. To meterology of all things. Have you noticed that weathermen increasingly can't say "storm," they must say "weather event"? They're predicting snow here for the morning, but they're calling it the first major "snow event" of the season.
