Samalito is downplaying his anti-abortion views according to WaTi. To be fair, he doesn't disparage his views, he simply told Sen. Feinstein he could rise above them as it were. Which is fine, but telegraphs that the White House is still going to go "stealth" with this guy. Sigh.
