Duh, right? But some have been murmuring that she was an Andy Card pick, not a Rove pick, and therefore not "One of Us." Hugh Hewitt has interviewed Rove on the matter, and reports that Miers has indeed been in on the vetting process for judges for the past three years --not the one year or less, or Roberts-only that some have reported. Here's support from Horace Cooper, whom I used to know slightly, and am actually a little surprised to find liking Miers --but am glad of it. And Bill Rusher gets it in this morning's WaTi print version --can't find the column on -line, though. UPDATE: Here it is, curtsy to The Remedy.
