Radioblogger has posted transcripts of a bunch of pro & con Miers interviews Hugh Hewitt conducted on his radio show yesterday. I particularly point your attention to the interview with Noel Francisco (about the middle of the link), who's worked closely with Miers, and was also a clerk for both Scalia and Luttig. He's gung-ho. There's also (same link) the interview with Ramesh Ponnuru, one of Miers' harshest critics, and to my mind Hewitt makes Ponnuru look rather foolish here --like someone who rushed to judgment without thinking things through or bothering to be very informed.
