Wistful for the USSR

WaPo's print edition has the most amazing Katrina vs. Chernobyl comparison chart, with stats compiled by Richard Rhodes and Gwyneth Cravens. Infuriatingly dishonest, even for the Post. One of the "differences" is listed thus. "Katrina: President Bush tours Gulf Coast five days after storm hits, avoiding New Orleans; Chernobyl: Two Politburo members reach Chernobyl within 48 hours to direct rescue operations."

Think about that. Can you believe the Post printed it?
