Sometimes It's Hard To Be A Woman. . . .

|

Got no problem with the "giving all your love to just one man" part, but Man! Other women can sure make the whole sex look dotty. On this stellar day of women's equality, the following things have taken place:

  • Sen. Feinstein voted against Judge Roberts because he didn't talk enough about himself as a husband and father.
I attempted to get a sense of his temperament and values. And I asked him about end of life decisions – clearly, decisions that are gut-wrenching, difficult, and extremely personal. Rather than talking to me as a son, a husband, a father – which I specifically requested that he do. He gave a very detached response. . .

Golly, Senator, since he's not your son, husband or father, maybe it violates his right to privacy to have to talk to you that way? (See what happens when you don't open up to your women, gentlemen? When we say, "Can we talk?" you'd better blather up, Cowboy.)
  • Reversing the roles in Eden, Lynndie England, once sent by our country to defend us, offered the famed, "the man made me do it" defense.
  • And then there's "Rita."
