Have you heard this story yet? Seems to have about run its course, but: a nun is protesting the decision of the cathedral in her hometown to allow The Da Vinci Code movie to be filmed there. I mean, for cryin' out loud, the local Anglican Church turned them down, and the book's not an attack on them. Let them make the movie of the world's dumbest book if they must, but must you cooperate? Let them film it in bluescreen.
Somewhere the other day I thought I heard that Howard & Hanks have been meeting with Catholics to figure out how to make the movie inoffensive.
Umm. Guys? Have you read the book? Maybe for a sequel you can do the film version of the Protocol of the Elders of Zion --but first meet with a panel of Rabbis to make the movie less anti-Semitic.
