In my kitchen I have framed a copy of a magazine photo I love. It's a big ol' Dalmatian hound up on its hind legs devouring the wedding cake as an unsuspecting bride and groom exchange their vows. In that spirit, I offer you this anecdote from D.C.'s most famous chef, Michel Richard. Will look for something patriotic to post for tomorrow, but otherwise probably no blogging until Tuesday.
