Tom Lehrer once introduced a song by saying, "Last month I read the raciest, juiciest, most wonderful. . . obituary (he let the unexpected word sink in) it has ever been my pleasure to read." It's not the least bit racy, but this is the best obituary RC2 has ever read. Sometimes marvelous un-PC things can slip by in odd places. This is about a Catholic mom who raised 13 kids. "What do you want for Christmas?" she was asked. "A moment's peace, " she replied. Are you happy? she is asked. "You can always tell how happy a husband and wife are by the number of children they have." Plus cabbage sandwiches and other funny stories. May she rest in peace, and may you enjoy reading this as I did.
