Waiting impatiently for B16's homily to be posted. Have to satisfy myself w/ Ratzinger on the tongue of fire post for now (scroll down to "Preparing for Pentecost"). During the vigil-of-Pentecost rosary in the wheatandweeds household last night, RC2 had the thought that it's interesting that at Babel man was cursed by suddenly speaking different languages, but at Pentecost tongues become a gift. Don't know if there's a connection or meaningful juxtaposition to follow there or not, I'm just saying. Wonder if any of the Fathers writes of the significance of languages at Babel?
